I’ve had my share of surgeries, but Open-Heart surgery is the toughest one so far. Recover has been slow, but steady. I came home from the hospital with Oxygen, which I’ve never needed before. I am at a point now where I am starting to wean off of it.
I am still recovering but starting to miss my crafts, which is a good sign. I remembered a little project I wanted to do and figured this as good of a time as any to pick up on it.
October 25, 2023, my Sister-In-Law lost her battle with Leukemia.
When we returned home to Minnesota from her funeral in New York, we brought back with us a few of her outfits for a special project. While recovering from my open-heart surgery, I decided it was time for me to work on that project. So, from these articles of clothing, I made a few treasures for our niece.
