Hollyhocks and Rhubarb

Welcome to Hollyhocks & Rhubarb. You will find my art to be a little bit whimsy. I love to use vintage items in unexpected ways. Truth be told I like to make fun things from old items. As I work with weathered woods or metals, they speak to me, no not out loud, but in a way new items never could. When I use new things to create my Handcrafted Gifts, I love to distress them so that it is hard to tell what is old and what is new.

You will step back in time when you look at some of my creations. Some of my Gifts are  my Handcrafted, and some Gifts have been Repurposed. My items consist of different kinds of Signs, Rabbits, Santas, Heart Pillows, Square Pillows, Snowmen, etc. I try to create things that go with the season. Such as, Valentines Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. These items will delight your soul. These items will make great Gifts for someone you know, or even for yourself.
